The Rev. Dr. Mitchel Nickols has served as a pastor/shepherd in word and in deed. His love for the Word is exemplified in his life and in his teaching, preaching, and work with other ministers in their ministry development. He loves the Lord and the sheep that God has placed in his care. Dr. Nickols received Christ as Lord and Savior and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost at the age of 16.
He graduated from Slippery Rock University (Bachelor’s Degree) and the University of Pittsburgh (Master’s Degree and Doctorate of Philosophy). In addition to the degrees he has received, he has completed coursework at Penn State University and the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. His experience professionally is broad, having served as a teacher, reading specialist and federal program evaluator for the Pennsylvania Department of Education. He is the founding and senior pastor of the Bibleway Christian Fellowship Church in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.
Pastor Mitch formally served as an adjunct professor at the Community College of Allegheny County, taught both undergraduate and currently teaches graduate courses in Leadership Studies and Community Ministry at Geneva College. He has been producer and host of a nationally televised, award-winning talk show on Cornerstone Television called “A Nickols’ Worth” and a grantwriter. He is founder and president of Friends of Eden, Inc.
Dr. Mitchel Nickols regularly addresses team development and how to avoid key team dysfunctions through workshops and seminars. Dr. Nickols will discuss how you can develop your best team and empower them to succeed. He will give solutions for working with difficult staff members, managing your time effectively when you don’t have enough and making ethical decisions in the workplace. Dr. Nickols offers advice on executive coaching, life coaching, business ethics, diversity training, and solutions to toxic behavior in any organization. He is a five-time national award winning TV host, producer and leadership professor who inspires and motivates his audience. As a proven executive, he also is also an award-winning newspaper columnist. Dr. Nickols, as principal keynote, conference speaker and consultant, brings his unique communication skills to inspire, inform, and motivate. He speaks to diverse populations, has mentored more than 400 professionals in both the public and private sector, with more than 20-plus years of experience as a graduate and undergraduate school professor. He is the president of A Nickols Worth Consulting & Coaching, LLC.
Celebrating 45 years of marriage to his wife, Quandra, Pastor Mitch enjoys inspiring people, both young and old, to reach the next level of growth and joy in their life experiences. He has a gift of administration and wisdom that assists him in advising both ministry and corporate leaders, as well as young people. Pastor Mitchel and Pastor Q have two married daughters and four wonderful grandchildren.
